Subscriptions are managed through Shopify. Review the charge and trial terms shown by Shopify before approving a plan. Evenly runs inside Shopify Admin and does not require a separate Evenly account.
When the allowance runs out
New AI processing pauses when the allowance is reached. A batch already in progress can finish above the threshold. Paused jobs become eligible to resume in the next UTC calendar month while the app remains installed.
The allowance resets at the start of each UTC calendar month, separately from Shopify's 30-day subscription billing cycle.
What a processing unit means
Processing units describe Evenly's internal AI usage calculation. They are not a separate customer charge or a balance you purchase. Usage depends on the amount of text sent to the AI model, the amount generated, and the model used. There is no fixed number of products or words per allowance.
Evenly checks for already-current translations and reusable cached content before requesting AI output. These checks do not require a new AI response. A billed AI response may still count toward the allowance if its output cannot be used.
How usage is calculated
One unit corresponds to one US cent in Evenly's internal calculation. For each AI response, input and output token usage is calculated at the rates below, added together, and rounded up to the next whole unit.

Model selection depends on the plan and target language. Brand Voice uses Sonnet; some languages use Sonnet on other plans too.
Standard allowances and shop settings
The allowances above describe the current standard settings: a 2,000-unit shop limit, with Free capped at 300 units. The app enforces the limit stored for each shop; a lower configured shop limit reduces the effective allowance. Contact us if you need to confirm the allowance applying to your shop.
